Cookie Policy
Plain-English summary. We use one essential preference entry stored in your browser's local storage to remember your cookie choice. If you click "Accept all" in our cookie banner, we may also load Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate site usage. We do not use cookies, pixels, or SDKs for advertising, retargeting, profiling, or cross-context behavioral advertising.
01Overview
This Cookie Policy describes how NexliOne LLC ("NexliOne", "we", "our", or "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on the website at nexlione.com (the "Site"). It supplements our Privacy Policy.
This Cookie Policy applies to the marketing Site only. The NexliOne platform at app.nexlione.com is governed by a separate cookie notice or by the cookie practices described in your subscription agreement and Data Processing Addendum.
02What cookies and similar technologies are
"Cookies" are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to the website operator. Cookies are either:
- First-party — set by the domain you are visiting (in our case,
nexlione.com); or - Third-party — set by another domain whose code is loaded on the page (for example, an analytics provider).
Cookies are also classified by lifespan:
- Session cookies — deleted when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies — stored on your device for a defined period, even after you close your browser.
"Similar technologies" include browser local storage, session storage, IndexedDB, web beacons (also called pixels or clear GIFs), software-development kits, and device fingerprinting. References to "cookies" in this policy include these similar technologies unless we say otherwise.
03Categories of cookies we use
Industry practice classifies cookies into four categories. We currently use only the first two and only in the limited ways described below.
3.1 Strictly necessary
These cookies and storage entries are required for the Site to function or to deliver a service you have requested. They are always active and cannot be disabled through the cookie banner. We currently use one strictly-necessary entry: a local-storage entry that records your cookie-banner choice so we don't ask again.
3.2 Analytics
These cookies help us understand, on an aggregate basis, how visitors interact with the Site so that we can improve it. Analytics cookies are loaded only after you affirmatively click "Accept all" in our cookie banner. If you click "Essential only", or if you take no action, no analytics cookies are loaded. We may use Google Analytics 4 for this purpose.
3.3 Functional
These cookies remember choices you make to provide a more personalized experience. We do not currently use functional cookies. If we add any in the future, we will list them in Section 4 and describe how to manage them.
3.4 Marketing / advertising
These cookies are used to deliver targeted or behavioral advertising, build interest profiles, or measure advertising effectiveness across sites. We do not use marketing or advertising cookies on the Site. We do not load advertising-network pixels (such as Meta, Google Ads, LinkedIn Insight, TikTok, Reddit, Twitter/X, or Pinterest), retargeting beacons, or affiliate-tracking cookies. We do not participate in cross-context behavioral advertising as that term is defined under California or other US state privacy laws.
04Cookies and storage entries in detail
The following table lists each cookie or storage entry we use, the party that sets it, its purpose, its type, and its lifetime.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Category | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|---|
nexlione-cookie-consent | NexliOne (first-party) | Records the choice you made in our cookie banner ("Accept all" or "Essential only") so we don't ask again. Stored in your browser's local storage, not as an HTTP cookie. | Strictly necessary | Until you clear your browser's local storage for the Site |
_ga | Google LLC (third-party) — only set if you accept analytics | Distinguishes one user from another for aggregate analytics purposes. | Analytics | Up to 24 months |
_ga_<PROPERTY-ID> | Google LLC (third-party) — only set if you accept analytics | Persists session state for Google Analytics 4 measurement. | Analytics | Up to 24 months |
We may update this table from time to time as we add, remove, or change service providers. Any change will appear here, with a new "Last updated" date at the top of this policy.
05Other tracking technologies we don't use
To eliminate any doubt, we want to be specific about what is not in use on the Site:
- No advertising pixels. We do not load Meta Pixel, Google Ads conversion tags, LinkedIn Insight Tag, TikTok Pixel, Twitter/X Pixel, Reddit Pixel, Pinterest Tag, Snap Pixel, or any other ad-network beacon.
- No session-replay tools. We do not use FullStory, Hotjar session recordings, LogRocket, Microsoft Clarity, Mouseflow, Smartlook, or any similar tool that records what you do on the page.
- No fingerprinting. We do not use canvas, audio, or other browser fingerprinting techniques to identify you across sessions or devices.
- No data brokers or identity-graph integrations. We do not connect the Site to identity-resolution services that link your visit to a real-world identity from a third-party graph.
- No customer-data platform tag deployment. We do not load Segment, Rudderstack, mParticle, or other CDP libraries on the Site.
06Third-party cookies
The only third party that may set cookies on the Site is Google LLC, and only if you click "Accept all" in our cookie banner. Google's analytics cookies are governed by Google's policies, including:
- Google Privacy Policy
- How Google uses information from sites or apps that use Google services
- Google Analytics safeguarding your data
You can install the official Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on to prevent Google Analytics from collecting data on any site, including ours.
Google Fonts is loaded for typography. Loading a font involves a request to Google's servers; that request transmits your IP address and user agent to Google but does not, on its own, set a cookie.
07Your choices
7.1 Our cookie banner
When you first visit the Site, you see a banner offering two choices:
- Essential only — only the strictly-necessary entry described in Section 4 is used. Analytics is not loaded.
- Accept all — analytics is also loaded. You can change your mind at any time using the methods below.
7.2 Changing your choice
To change your choice after making it, clear your browser's local storage for nexlione.com. The banner will reappear on your next visit, letting you make a new choice. Most browsers let you clear local storage from the same place you clear cookies — see Section 8.
7.3 Withdrawing analytics consent
You can withdraw analytics consent at any time by clearing your local storage as described above and selecting "Essential only" when the banner reappears, or by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on linked in Section 6.
08Browser controls
Most browsers let you view, manage, and delete cookies and local storage from their settings, and let you block cookies entirely. Note that blocking strictly-necessary cookies or local storage may prevent the Site from functioning correctly, including by causing the cookie banner to reappear on every visit.

09Mobile-device controls
Mobile operating systems offer additional privacy controls outside the browser:
- iOS / iPadOS — Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking lets you disable cross-app tracking. Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising lets you reset or disable the personalized-ad identifier.
- Android — Settings → Privacy → Ads lets you reset your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization.
These controls affect tracking across apps and aren't specific to the Site, but they're a useful complement to browser-level controls.
10Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Most browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal and a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. Because there is no industry-wide standard for honoring DNT, we do not currently respond to DNT. We do honor GPC signals as a valid opt-out of any sale or sharing of personal information for residents of US states whose laws require us to honor GPC. As described above, we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in any case.
11Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The "Effective" and "Last updated" dates at the top of this page reflect the latest version. If we make material changes — for example, adding a new analytics provider, adding a marketing-cookie category, or changing the conditions under which cookies are loaded — we will provide notice that is appropriate to the change, including where required by law re-prompting for consent through the cookie banner. Your continued use of the Site after the effective date of the revised policy constitutes acceptance.
